As the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Jefferies, Vikram leads a 1400+ strong global team. Jefferies Information Technology division supports all major lines of business through CIO-aligned teams. Encompassing Equities, Fixed Income and Investment Banking, as well as all functions within Corporate including Risk, Treasury, HR, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Audit and Marketing. The division is also responsible for Infrastructure, Security, Application Production Support and Technology Support.

Since taking on this role in 2021, together with his senior leadership team, Vikram has developed a business-led Technology strategy which directly addresses business capabilities and looks to stabilizes current revenue streams while also developing for new revenue opportunities. The organization simultaneously builds foundational elements for scalability while pursuing innovative solutions which may present competitive advantage. To achieve the ambitious roadmap, the Technology team is becoming engineering-centric, have embarked on a Cloud Transformation Journey, focus on Innovation and AI.
