He has held leadership roles at Nasdaq, Virtu Financial, Dash Financial Technologies, and Coinbase Institutional (formerly Tagomi), where he drove initiatives at the intersection of market structure, trading, operations, compliance, and digital assets. Venu has deep expertise in launching regulated platforms, navigating complex licensing environments, and scaling real-time trading infrastructure, core themes for embedded finance and brokerage modernization.

Prior to joining DriveWealth, he served as Managing Director at Patomak Global Partners, advising fintech and crypto clients on regulatory strategy. He has been a key contributor to industry dialogue, including the SEC’s Equity Market Structure Advisory Committee and the FINRA Small Firm Advisory Committee. Venu holds degrees in economics and computer science from BITS Pilani and an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington, along with multiple FINRA licenses.
