Michael leads EY’s Banking-as-a-Service/Embedded Banking solutions in the U.S. In this role, he works closely with banks of all sizes to design and implement programs and capabilities to support and manage Bank-Fintech relationships. This includes transformation of risk management capabilities necessary for partner and product oversight, modernization of technology and data infrastructure to accommodate the unique challenges posed by FinTech partnerships, and the development of alternative delivery models and managed services to provide the ability to rapidly scale operational capabilities in cost-effective manners.

Prior to joining EY, he was a Senior Vice President with Bank of America and held various positions supporting the Global Corporate and Investment Banking and Global Wealth and Investment Management divisions, including roles within legal, compliance, technology and operations, and front office business management.

He holds a JD from Golden Gate University School of Law and a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Chico.
