Matt McAfee is a Senior Executive Vice President at M&T Bank and Head of Digital Assets within the Enterprise Platforms Division. Over more than 20 years at M&T, he’s held a range of leadership roles across finance, wealth management, and strategy.

His prior positions include Assistant CFO, where he helped oversee the Finance Division; Head of Affluent Wealth Management, leading over 375 employees across advisory and brokerage businesses; and President of Wilmington Trust’s Institutional Retirement Services business, managing over $45 billion in client assets. He has also led strategic initiatives focused on growth and performance and served in multiple senior finance roles.

Before joining M&T, Matt held finance and operations roles at EDS and Franklin Covey. He holds degrees from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and the University of Utah.

Matt serves on several boards, including Wilmington Trust Company, The Clearing House PayCo, and Literacy Buffalo Niagara.
