Marisa Calderon is President and CEO of Prosperity Now, a national nonprofit that provides tools, resources, and research to its 86,000-member network and professionals advancing economic mobility. A recognized expert in housing and financial services, she has built her career across the private and nonprofit sectors.

Previously, Calderon served as Chief of Community Finance and Mobility at the National Community Reinvestment Coalition and Executive Director of its Community Development Fund. She helped deploy capital for affordable housing in 20 U.S. cities and $175 million in pandemic relief funding in Illinois. She also led the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals for nearly a decade and held financial services roles, most recently at Citibank.

A native Spanish speaker and granddaughter of braceros, Calderon earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from UC Berkeley. She serves on the boards of Working Solutions, Partners for the Common Good, and ROC USA.
