Madhusudhan (Madhu) Magadi builds the machinery that will let money think. As Managing Director & CTO for Banking and Financial Services at NTT DATA North America, he architects agentic AI, tokenization, and ISO 20022-native payment infrastructure for many of the world’s largest financial institutions not as roadmap on paper, but as live systems running today inside Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks. A BankTech Fellow with two decades modernizing core banking, Madhu’s current focus is the collision Money20/20 exists to explore: autonomous agents that originate, price, and settle transactions; regulated stable coins that make settlement programmable; and the control planes that keep regulators comfortable while it happens.
