Kirsty Rutter has spent over 25 years in financial services in roles spanning finance, strategy, risk, data, technology, innovation and strategic investment at six Top Tier financial institutions.

Today, Kirsty is Lloyds Banking Group’s Strategic Investment Director, an equity investment capability she built from scratch in 2022, that invests in Seed to Series B equity. She uses her diverse experience to create value by advising and supporting founders to navigate financial services and creates value for the bank by acting as a strategic consultant with a focus on business development.

Trained in finance, she rapidly moved on to develop business growth strategies in corporate and investment banking. Post financial crisis, she pivoted towards technology, data, risk and regulatory change; leveraging new technologies and innovation across all business lines to deliver customer outcome led results.

Kirsty has two teenage sons, who teach her more than any job could.
