As Chief Risk Officer, Kim oversees the development and implementation of risk and compliance frameworks. A key part of her role is to embed risk awareness across the firm and ensure that the risks generated by direct customers, banking-as-service (BaaS) partners, products and strategies are identified, assessed and mitigated through sound processes. Kim has deep expertise and broad experience in financial services and regulation. She has served as chief risk officer and in senior risk oversight and remediation roles at leading global banking organizations, and she has rating agency and professional services experience advising financial institutions on risk management, evolving regulations and strategy. She began her career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where she held a variety of senior policy, regulatory and examination roles in banking supervision.
