Kathryn Davis is President/CEO of Valley First Credit Union, a $1.1 billion Community Development Financial Institution in Modesto, California. She leads one of Central California’s premier financial cooperatives, advancing a mission of financial inclusion, economic opportunity, and community impact through purpose-driven banking.

With more than 31 years of experience in banking, Davis has dedicated her career to expanding access to affordable financial services, fair credit, and pathways to homeownership. An advocate for financial well-being, she has championed innovative programs that strengthen families, businesses, and communities.

Davis holds a BA from the University of California, Riverside, a MA from Chapman University, and the prestigious Certified Chief Executive (CCE) designation.

She was recognized by American Banker as one of America’s Most Powerful Women in Credit Unions in 2023 and 2024 and received the 2026 Social Impact Award from the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues.
