Kate Walton is the Chief Commercial Officer in Merchant Services for J.P. Morgan Payments, advancing pay-in and pay-out solutions in both acquiring and issuing. She has held various roles in management, sales, and strategy, serving a wide range of enterprise customers and portfolios across Payments, Technology, and Financial Services. Kate joined the firm in October 2023. As Chief Commercialization Officer, her team serves as the link between the Product teams and the firm’s distribution channels—Sales and Marketing.

Previously, she led Strategic Platforms at Stripe, where she established key partnerships and scaled innovative products and solutions. Prior to Stripe, Kate was the Head of Strategic Sales and General Manager at Amazon Business, and she held various sales, strategy, and marketing roles at American Express in both Merchant Services and B2B segments.

Kate holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Cornell University and an MBA from the Fordham Gabelli School of Business. She lives in New York City with her husband and two daughters.
