She previously served as Principal Director of Open Banking Compliance at Yodlee, Head of UK Policy at Plaid, and Policy Advisor at the Financial Conduct Authority.

A recognized voice in payments and open banking policy, Kat has served on expert advisory groups stood up by the UK Open Banking Implementation Entity Trustee covering subjects ranging from consent management, customer-side protections, and Variable Recurring Payments standards and consultations. Her whitepaper on consent and authentication in open banking contributed to the FCA’s revised approach to 90-day reauthentication. She was named to the Women in FinTech Powerlist in 2020, 2021 and 2025.
