Johnathan McGowan is Co-Founder and CEO of PayOS, a global payments and services platform building infrastructure for agentic commerce. Based in San Francisco, he has spent the last 8 years across card networks, fintech, and payment infrastructure, with expertise spanning AI commerce, risk, identity, and autonomous transactions. Prior to PayOS, he led product initiatives at TabaPay. Earlier, he held product roles at Visa, contributing to initiatives including VisaNet +AI, Installments, Tap to Phone, and Scan to Pay. Today, through PayOS, Johnathan works closely with AI platforms, card networks, issuers, fintechs, and merchants to enable AI agents to securely transact on behalf of consumers and businesses.
