Ji Kim is the President and Acting CEO of CCI - the premier global alliance for advancing the promise of this new technology through research, education and advocacy. Prior to this role, he served as the Chief Legal & Policy Officer for CCI.

Ji was General Counsel and Head of Policy & Regulatory Affairs at Gemini, a global digital asset exchange and custodian. In his role, Ji led the legal, policy, and regulatory affairs teams and also set and implemented Gemini’s global strategy for engaging with regulators, policymakers, and the government.

He was a senior attorney at global digital asset exchange, Kraken. He was an attorney at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and served as Federal Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Robert D. Drain of the Southern District of New York, U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
