Jeff Sadosky is Head of U.S. Government and Public Affairs at Shopify, where he leads federal and state advocacy and government relations on behalf of the entrepreneurs building their businesses on Shopify’s commerce infrastructure. His work includes policy issues at the intersection of commerce, fintech, AI, payments, and access to capital, with a focus on ensuring new technologies lower barriers for small businesses rather than adding complexity.

Before joining Shopify, Jeff spent nearly a decade as a partner at Forbes Tate Partners, advising clients on government relations and public affairs in Washington and in state capitals across the country. He began his career in politics and public affairs, including senior communications roles in the U.S. Senate and on presidential, Senate, and gubernatorial campaigns, working with leaders including President George W. Bush, Senators Rob Portman, John McCain, and Marco Rubio, and Governor Mike DeWine.
