George Estrada is Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at Rize Credit Union, a $1.5 billion institution, where he rebuilt the security and infrastructure foundation, built a credit-union-owned data platform on AWS, and runs an AI program on one principle: training, adoption, and security are one program, not three. He is also Founder and Principal of Orion Digital Services, a strategic technology advisory practice serving financial services, startups, and small and mid-size businesses on strategy, AI, and adoption. Previously an executive advisor at AWS, he advised C-suites and boards and helped build and grow its credit union team, where his focus was raising the digital IQ of executives by arming them with the questions to ask their technology teams and vendors. He is completing an MS in Complex Systems Science at Arizona State, where his thesis applies NK fitness landscape modeling to complex strategy dependencies across roughly 4,500 U.S. credit unions.
