Felipe is the Chief Regulatory Officer at Bitso, Latin America's leading crypto financial services company, Felipe also became the Country Manager of Bitso México in 2024. Since 2017, he has led the company's communications and corporate affairs while also supervising its Risk and Cybersecurity departments.

A prominent industry leader, Felipe was re-elected for a second term as President of the Mexican Fintech Association in 2024. He co-founded Mexico's Blockchain Association and played an active role in creating the country's landmark Fintech Law.

Before joining Bitso, Felipe held advisory roles at ProMéxico in Washington, D.C., and for Mexico’s Ministry of Economy. He holds degrees in Economics from Tecnológico de Monterrey and Law from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, as well as a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard University.
