Faraz Shafiq is Executive Vice President and Head of Artificial Intelligence Products and Solutions at Wells Fargo & Company. In this role, Faraz is responsible for advancing the firm’s use of generative and agentic AI to transform how Wells Fargo operates and delivers for customers, while ensuring responsible, scalable, and high impact deployment of AI across the organization.

A seasoned technology and product executive, Faraz brings more than 20 years of experience driving innovation across technology, telecommunications, and healthcare. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, he served as Field CTO for Generative and Agentic AI at Amazon Web Services, where he advised enterprises on adopting next‑generation AI technologies to achieve business outcomes. Earlier in his career, he held senior data, AI, product, and engineering leadership roles at Cambia Health, Verizon, AT&T, and Google, consistently delivering large‑scale digital and AI‑driven transformation.
