Clay Cowan is Chief Executive Officer of IRA Financial, a self-directed retirement platform that gives investors access to traditional and alternative assets within tax-advantaged accounts. He brings leadership experience across technology, consulting and fintech, including senior roles at Betterment, McKinsey, Gilt Groupe and Starwood Hotels. At IRA Financial, he is focused on scaling the platform, strengthening the investor experience and expanding access to a broader range of retirement investments. Cowan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Harvard University.
