Charles Damen is Chief Product Officer at A2A payments infrastructure provider platform Token.io. He is also Co-Founder of the Open Finance Association, Chair of UK Finance's Open Banking Working Group, and acts as Co-Chair of the VRP Model Clauses Working Group. Prior to joining Token.io, Charles was the SVP Product Strategy at Worldpay, responsible for real-time payments and open banking. He brings more than 20 years of payments, mobile and internet experience to his role.

Prior to Worldpay Charles founded and led the global cross border payments division at Thunes, enabling real-time payments to and from emerging markets. Charles also led the payments and fraud team at global ecommerce merchant Bumble and was a board member at the Merchant Risk Council. Prior to Badoo, he was head of mobile payments at Syniverse and co-founded the mobile messaging business Mobile365, which was sold to SAP.
