Carmen James is Chief Strategy Officer at Liquidity, where she leads global business growth and focuses on how AI can give asset managers a structural edge across the private markets investment lifecycle. She has over 15 years of cross-border experience in financial strategy, corporate development and investor engagement. She architects scalable solutions that propel consistent growth throughout the private credit ecosystem.

Prior to joining Liquidity, Carmen led Financial Services and Technology at the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, working with technology companies, sovereign wealth funds and asset managers. Before that, she worked in fund strategy and advisory. Carmen holds a BBus in Economics from the University of Technology Sydney and is MEA Chapter Lead for the Milken Institute’s Young Leaders Circle.
