Bhairav is a 30-year veteran of financial services with deep expertise in digital payments, cross-border remittances, and fintech. He most recently served as CEO of Crown Agents Bank from 2021, leading the UK-based specialist bank focused on emerging and frontier markets through its public listing as CAB Payments. Prior to Crown Agents, he was Group CEO of Finablr, where he oversaw the sale of the LSE-listed payments provider, and Group CEO of Network International Payment Solutions, the Middle East and Africa payments provider. Earlier, he served as Managing Director and Global Head of Remittance Services at Citi, founded PayQuik (acquired by Citi), and held senior roles at Sigue Global Services, McKinsey, and Fair Isaac. He holds an MBA from Wharton, a Masters in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford, and an engineering degree from BITS India.
