Alex Oberg leads Alterra’s payments and fraud platform across its network of ski resorts. His work ensures guests have a smooth and secure payment experience, whether they’re buying lift tickets, booking lodging, or making purchases on-site or online. He’s also responsible for keeping fraud in check and making sure Alterra can trust who’s on the other end of each transaction.

Before Alterra, Alex worked at Ticketmaster, where he served as Chief of Staff and, earlier, as a Product Owner. He helped launch key products like Verified Fan and TaylorSwiftTix, which became well-known tools for reducing ticket scalping and giving real fans a better shot at buying tickets.

Earlier in his career, Alex was the co-founder and CEO of Strobe Labs, a startup focused on fan identity and loyalty. Ticketmaster acquired the company in 2017.

He’s also an active investor and advisor to early-stage companies, and a Brown University graduate.
