Perhaps Scott is best known as the Founder/ Global Head of Design and Innovation at Capital One. Under Scott’s leadership, Capital One complimented its analytics prowess with human-centered culture and design thinking including acquiring silicon valley design firm Adaptive Path, shocking the worlds of design, tech, and banking. It worked. Capital One’s experience design team has since grown to 500+ designers, spawning books and winning coveted awards such as Fast Company’s Innovation by Design, and JD Powers Top Mobile Banking App. In earlier roles, Scott founded teams at Ally Bank, Bank of America, and The Walt Disney Company, so it’s no surprise that championing brave growth & innovation is his passion Now, Scott has shifted gears to establish MyAngelFund.com, currently in stealth, to convert consumer sentiment into “a funding movement” that liberates select small / medium-sized companies to pursue the coveted triple bottom line of people, planet, and profit.
