Chris Reid is Executive Vice President for Data and Cyber & Intelligence Services in North America at Mastercard. In this role, he is responsible for the division containing Loyalty Solutions, Data & Analytics and Cyber & Intelligence Solutions.
Mr. Reid joined Mastercard in 2008 and previously managed the company’s global relationships with Citibank, JP Morgan Chase and the Royal Bank of Scotland Group.
Prior to joining Mastercard, Mr. Reid spent ten years at Tesco, one of the world’s largest retailers in a variety of Operational and Marketing roles. He headed up the marketing function for Tesco.com, helping the business grow from start-up to significant operational profit becoming the world’s largest on-line grocery retailer.
Mr. Reid then spent time at Barclays Bank where he headed up the Customer Strategy and Planning team and then took accountability for all of the marketing and communications for the Retail Bank. He moved to Aviva, the largest Insurer in the U.K. where he was Director of Propositions, responsible for all products and services, along with business development in the U.K.
Mr. Reid was born and raised in Scotland and holds a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management.
