Advisory & Professional Services
Management Consulting

Established in 2008, the Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN) is an independent, member owned, not-for-profit association, designed to build and promote a common architectural framework aimed at solving common issues across the banking industry. The community of over 90 members including HSBC, Santander and Wells Fargo focuses on creating a standard banking services landscape, while ensuring consistent service definitions. This helps banks reduce integration costs and take advantage of a microservices architecture to support them across their digitalization journey. BIAN is currently focused on working with its members to determine how AI can be used to not only transform the operations, but also improve how BIAN standards are implemented across each organization. At Money20/20, BIAN will launch the fourth iteration of ‘Coreless Banking’ concept. Building on the success of the previous iterations, BIAN will demonstrate how the API-based services architecture has been designed to resolve the challenges banks face with interoperability and highlight how organizations can migrate to an “best of breed” environment. It will also highlight how the updated concept uses AI and machine learning capabilities to improve the profitability of the bank. We invite financial institutions, software vendors, and system integrators, along with technology partners and consultancies, to join our association and play a collaborative role with other industry leaders in defining, building, and implementing next-generation banking platforms.
