Sm∆rtMeet Process Guidelines For Hosted Buyers
What and When
STEP 1: Apply To Be A Buyer
from now until September 12 Fill out the form online today.
STEP 2: Register For Your Pass
Within 3 days of receiving your acceptance email, you should register. Our team will reach out to you on if you’re accepted to do 5 meetings or 10 meetings, and how to register and confirm your spot. You must have a registered badge to officially be a Buyer.
Then, in late August, we’ll reach out to you with next steps and more detailed guidelines.
STEP 3: Profile & Assign Participants
Starting late August through September 15 Complete your profile. Assign your Meeting Participants.
STEP 4: Selections
Week of September 15 Review profiles and select whom you’d like to meet.
You will select 5x the number of meetings you purchased (i.e. if you were confirmed for 5 meetings, the recommended selection is 25.)
STEP 5: Score Generation
September 22-28 Behind-the-scenes magic. Making your and others' selections and combining them with AI-enabled matchmaking technology generates meetings based on score.
STEP 6: Receive Scheduled Meetings
September 29 You receive your schedule of meetings generated by score and priority. Double opt-in meetings mean no meeting is generated that you didn’t select.
STEP 7: Meetings Onsite
October 27 & 28 You attend the 1:1 meetings onsite at Money20/20 USA, knowing you can focus on making new connections with ease and making your time count at Money 20/20.
We’ll have assistance onsite for any questions!
STEP 8: Complete Your Survey & Reconciliation
November We’ll be compiling data and checking who attended, so if there are any meetings that you missed, our team will reach out on if/how that affects your ticketed amount.

Who?
- Only Money20/20 registered attendees will be able to participate in Sm∆rtMeet by Money20/20 meetings. You are not officially part of being a buyer at Money20/20 if you have not registered for your badge.
- Sm∆rtMeet meetings are 1:1, which means you will come to the meeting and meet with one other person. If you bring more than 1 person to any one meeting, the extra participant will be asked to leave the hosted area as we will not have the space to accommodate extras. We do have lounges conveniently placed around Money20/20.
When and Where
Meetings will occur at designated tables within Hall A at The Venetian Convention Center. You will receive the table number for each meeting in advance of the show.
Designated Meeting Times
Please note: Because of the way our algorithm works, meeting participants must be available for all the time slots when we’re scheduling. Once you receive the schedule on Sept 29, so will the Buyer and we should not be rescheduling.
