With 30 years of leadership experience in Financial Services and Healthcare, he has worked across South Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and the US. Shankar has led enterprise-wide initiatives in product development, innovation, marketing, and M&A integration. Prior to Mastercard, he was VP and Head of Innovation at Humana, later leading Strategic Alignment and Integration. At Mastercard, he develops and executes strategies to transform healthcare through global partnerships. His focus includes insurers, hospital systems, and HealthTech innovators, addressing key pain points using Mastercard’s assets such as cybersecurity, AI, predictive analytics, B2B payments, BillPay, and loyalty platforms.
