Maya Wilson is a Partner and Managing Director at IBM Promontory. She advises financial institutions and clients who operate in the financial services sector on a variety of regulatory and supervisory issues, including the development, enhancement, and execution of strategies to effectively manage risk, meet regulatory expectations, and improve quality.

She has extensive experience assisting clients with the design and implementation of compliance risk management programs, including complaints management, and facilitates quality and effectiveness reviews of existing risk management processes to identify and address gaps.

Prior to joining IBM Promontory, Maya was a bank regulatory lawyer at the Federal Reserve Board, Department of the Treasury, and global law firms. She has shared her insights at industry events and guest lectured on bank holding company regulation at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
