Lisa is Marqeta's VP of Global Bank and Network Partnerships. She has more than 20 years in the payments industry in roles focusing on merchant, acquirer, network, issuer and consumer across fintech, banking, processing and crypto.

Over her career she’s led complex frenemy relationships, deal negotiations, critically sensitive Initiatives, new country and vertical market entry efforts. She was most known for her merchant acquiring expertise but she also drove key Durbin issuance efforts such as the RFP to deal negotiation with a small issuer and unaffiliated network for the PayPal debit Mastercard and led the Venmo Visa credit card deal. Throughout her career, she leveraged her early days in bank audit and risk management and network compliance professional to be a catalyst for thinking differently to enable and preserve partnerships and regulated products in the face of intense regulatory scrutiny.

She’s an inventor, angel investor and Certified Fraud Examiner.
