Kristen is the CCO of 1Money, a stablecoin payments network. Previously, she was the CCO of Meta's Novi Digital Asset Wallet, and Deputy CCO at Binance.com. Earlier in her career, she worked at the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes, working closely with FinCEN and OFAC, and in senior financial crime compliance roles at HSBC.

Why this matters: Kristen has the unique perspective of someone who has built out large-scale, corporate compliance programs AND was a founding team member of a crypto company, building the compliance program from 0 to 1. Plus, Kristen was also a regulator in her previous professional life.
