Katie has served in multiple roles for H&R Block over the last 16 years, including serving as corporate secretary of H&R Block Bank prior to its divestiture as well as various roles in Litigation. Most recently, Katie took on the role of Vice President / Deputy General Counsel for Financial Services in 2020. Prior to joining H&R Block, Katie clerked for the Honorable John Gibson on the United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit and worked for a private law firm. Katie has depth of expertise in trends in the financial services arena and does not shy away from challenging matters. Katie earned her JD from Georgetown University Law Center and her BA from the University of Kansas.
