Juan joined Revolut in October 2021 to found the bank in Mexico with the goal of revolutionizing the way millions of people manage their money. Before joining Revolut, Juan held executive positions in both traditional banking and fintech. He was CEO of RappiCard México, the alliance between Rappi and Banorte. Previously, he served as Chief Innovation Officer at Citibanamex, one of the largest financial institutions in Mexico. Prior to that, Juan lived in the United Kingdom for several years, where he founded two companies that innovated financial services and worked for the insurance company Prudential plc. Before that, Juan worked at Banamex and at Velifin in Mexico City.
