Trampay
Biography
Jorge Júnior is the Founder and CEO of Trampay, a leading Brazilian fintech advancing financial inclusion for informal workers. Born in Brazil and raised by a delivery driver father and a public school teacher mother, Jorge turned a lived experience of exclusion into a mission: proving that informal doesn’t mean invisible.
Under his leadership, Trampay has moved over R$3 billion (USD ~$550M) through its platform, offering embedded financial services — including banking, credit, insurance, and financial education — to gig workers, especially last-mile delivery drivers.
Jorge has been recognized by Google for Startups, the BNDES, and Brazil’s largest media network, Globo, and was a finalist at the Brazil Conference at Harvard & MIT. Today, he speaks globally about inclusive credit, the future of work in Latin America, and how tech can (and must) serve the people powering the real economy.
