João is CEO of EBANX, a position he assumed in 2021 after more than three years as Chief Operations Officer, preceded by almost seven years as Chief Technology Officer.

With more than 20 years of experience in software development, he is the mind behind the first codes for the EBANX platform, which allows all of the company's operations to work with synergy, rapid, and frictionless responsiveness.

During his time as COO, he was at the forefront of important fintech projects, such as building the global commercial team, launching 50 new integrations and payment methods in the company's B2B solutions in a single year, and the international expansion of EBANX, which currently operates in 29 countries in the three regions where the digital market is growing the fastest in the world: Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
