Howard R. Fields serves as Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at Mastercard, overseeing global ethics and compliance programs. During his decade-long tenure, he also held the role of Global AML and Sanctions Officer. Prior to Mastercard, Mr. Fields worked at GE Capital as Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, AML Counsel, and Compliance Leader for the Financial Crimes Compliance Group. He also practiced White Collar Criminal defense at Wiggin & Dana, LLP and served as an Enforcement Attorney with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission.

A certified anti-money laundering professional under ACAMS, Mr. Fields is an advisory board member of the organization. He holds a Juris Doctor from Pace School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from Sacred Heart University. He is admitted to the bar in NY State, Connecticut, and the 2nd District. His board service includes Finicity, Make-A-Wish Foundation Hudson Valley, and ACAMS Advisory Board.
