Ethan is the founding partner of Outside VC, a pre-seed VC firm investing in financial inclusion and sustainability. He was previously a managing director at Techstars, launching the Techstars LA and Techstars Western Union accelerators. Before becoming an investor he was a longtime founder credited with helping pioneer the crowdfunding space in 2008 with the world's first medical crowdfunding platform, GiveForward, that helped families raise $200M for life-saving treatments and surgeries.
