Dan Chen is Gemini’s Chief Financial Officer, overseeing aspects of Gemini’s financial performance, including financial planning and analysis, treasury and capital markets, and upholding Gemini’s stringent financial reporting standards.

Dan has built a distinguished career in traditional finance, capital markets, investment management, and fintech. Most recently, Dan led capital markets and bank partnerships at Affirm.

Dan has shaped finance departments at both private and public companies across regulated financial institutions and high-growth technology companies. He has spent the past two-plus years at Affirm, where he served as the vice president of the $15 billion fintech company’s capital markets and bank partnerships teams, growing access to secured funding over 100% to $20 billion-plus. While CFO at Blue Foundry Bank, Dan helped lead the company through an IPO in 2021 that raised more than $277 million.
