Celia Edwards Karam has 15+ years of financial services leadership experience. In her role as President of Retail Bank at Capital One, she leads a team of 7,700+ people who build innovative products, drive growth and inspire customer loyalty.

She also helps oversee the expansion of Capital One’s Cafés across the country. Celia has held a wide range of leadership roles since joining Capital One more than 18 years ago – from Consumer and Small Business Banking to Chief Audit Officer.

The thread that unites her experiences is a passion for solving customers’ problems with a combination of technology and humanity. Under Celia’s leadership and policies that reduce barriers to education and champion financial wellness, Capital One Retail Bank products and services reach more than 100 million people at all stages of their financial journey. Celia holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in Economics from Harvard University.
