I spend my time on the edge of technology and finance and love watching software change the industry.

From 2014 - 2022 I was part of the founding teams to build out a fintech banking practice at both Wells Fargo and J.P. Morgan when fintech was nascent, overlooked, and under banked.

In 2022 I was asked to start a Web3 coverage team within our Payments business to deal with the explosion of companies working with blockchains.

In 2024 I came back to fintech coverage, focusing on the next generation of fintech, which I believe will be centered around embedded finance, catering to software developers through APIs created with them in mind, open-source and many more banking tools delivered as-a-service.
