Brigit Carroll is Head of Policy for the Americas at Wise, a global technology company building the best way to move and manage money across borders. Based in Washington, D.C., Brigit leads Wise’s policy and advocacy campaigns in Canada, Mexico, Brazil and the United States. Her work focuses on payments and digital finance issues, notably cross-border payments and remittances, payments and market infrastructure, instant/real-time payments and open banking/finance.

Before moving to D.C. in 2022, Brigit spent nearly a decade working in Brussels on E.U. policy. Previous to joining Wise in 2019, Brigit worked at the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU in Brussels. Brigit holds a Master’s degree in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe in Belgium and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
