Anthony Sharett serves as President of Pathward®, N.A. and Pathward Financial, Inc. He leads Pathward’s Banking as a Service, Commercial and Consumer Finance, Tax strategic business lines, as well as the company’s Marketing, Communications, Sustainability and Public Policy teams.

Before being appointed president, Sharett served in multiple executive-level roles, including Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining Pathward, Sharett held several key legal and business unit leadership positions at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, culminating as President of Nationwide Pet Insurance and Interim President for Nationwide Bank, a $7 billion institution at that time.

Previously, Sharett served as partner at BakerHostetler, where he was the national co-leader of the firm’s Financial Service Practice Group.

Anthony Sharett Sharett earned a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law, in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Ball State University, with a B.S. in Political Science.
