Alex Wu is the Founding Data Scientist at Slope, where he leads efforts to decode the language of bank transactions and build cash flow intelligence for SMBs. At Slope, he helped develop Slope TransFormer: the first large language model trained to understand banking data, and SlopeScore: the cash flow score for businesses.

Prior to Slope, Alex worked at Nauto and Deepscale, where he built real-time computer vision systems for autonomous vehicles, and before that, applied ML at the Ahmanson-Lovelace Brain Mapping Center.
