The measures in our COVID-19 Safety Plan are based on recognised events industry standards: Ascential Secure is the health and safety standard for live events, developed by our parent company. It mirrors the ‘All Secure’ COVID-19 safety standards published by industry association partners including UFI, AEO and SISO.
Our COVID-19 Safety Plan also reflects the requirements of the State authorities in Nevada and of the Venetian.
This is a detailed overview of our COVID-19 safety measures. A complete version of the COVID-19 Safety Plan will be published prior to Money20/20 USA.
By implementing these safety measures, we believe that those coming to Money20/20 USA can have every confidence that we are taking all reasonable precautions to keep them safe, and that they can get on with the most important things for them and their business: gathering the insight, skills and connections to drive personal, professional and business growth.
Our safety measures are organised into four key areas. These four Safety Cornerstones encompass all the measures which will be applied during pre-event preparation, during Money20/20 USA itself and in post-event break-down:
Featured below are the Top 10 Key Measures we will be implementing which we consider the most important.
What measures are being followed at the Show?
As a starting point, we will follow the relevant industry standards, including the Top Ten Key Measures.
Money20/20 USA will also be run according to the guidance of the Nevada State regulations, and any venue-specific regulations. These are being constantly reviewed and we will adjust our Safety Plan as necessary to match the latest medical advice and government regulations.
Can you guarantee my safety at the Show?
No environment away from your home can ever be 100% safe.
We are putting in place a comprehensive range of enhanced safety measures that make the health and safety of everyone who attends our absolute priority.
Through measures such as enhanced deep cleaning before, during and after events, non-contact registration, distancing and crowd management, and the deployment of screening and protective equipment, we are striving to provide the highest standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness, whilst still ensuring that our clients, partners and colleagues can access the connections, conversations and ideas that they need.
Will I need to provide evidence of a COVID-19 vaccine?
No, we will not require evidence of vaccination for people to attend Money20/20 USA. However, some airlines may require a vaccine certificate so please check with your airline or travel company.
Do I need to wear a mask if I’ve already had a COVID-19 vaccine?
Yes, we will be asking everyone to follow all of the COVID safety measures, including the wearing of face masks, which is currently a mandatory requirement in the State of Nevada and those issued by CDC. The current medical advice is that vaccines do not reduce the risk of transmission between people. Once vaccinated, you can still host the virus and transmit it to others. Wearing a mask and other safety measures will help to reduce the risk of virus transmission.
Will I need to provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 test?
Currently, evidence of a negative COVID test will be required for access to Money20/20 USA. We are making arrangements for everyone to take a COVID-19 antigen test on the day of their arrival at the show. Best practice is that tests should be conducted every 72 hours. For most attendees, this will require them to only test once during the show. Tests will be conducted at various locations.
Further test updates will be provided closer to show, please check back.
Will I need to be tested if I’ve already had a COVID-19 vaccine?
Yes, the current medical advice is that to prevent transmission of the virus, everyone should be tested regularly during Money20/20 USA. What happens if I test positive?
We will have expert medical advice available to support anyone who becomes ill or who tests positive for COVID-19. Before coming to Las Vegas, please check that you have appropriate insurance in place, including cover for any medical treatment or for any disruption to your travel arrangements.
What happens if there is a lockdown where I live or if I have to quarantine on the way there or back?
If you find yourself in any of the below scenarios within the 14 days before the show, we’ll be happy to move your pass across to next year's show in 2022 so that you can have peace of mind that it won't go to waste:
• The country/state that you live in closes its borders to travel
• The country/state you live in issues advice not to travel to Las Vegas, Nevada
• The country/state you live in has imposed an unavoidable quarantine on return from travel
• There is an unavoidable quarantine on arrival in Las Vegas, Nevada
• There is a further lockdown phase in the country/state you live in that prevents you from leaving your home except for essential requirements
then your pass will be transferred to the next edition of the show.
We'd also be happy to help you transfer your pass to a colleague or client to attend in your place if you prefer.
