Code Of Conduct

Money20/20 - Show Code of Conduct

Founded in 2011, Money20/20 creates destination shows where the most innovative people in payments, fintech and the broader financial services industry connect. The below code of conduct applies to all staff, attendees, sponsors and 3rd parties attending or working at our show.

Money20/20 is the space where Fintech's smartest visionaries and innovators come together to create the future of money. It's been our mission to create an equitable platform that gives strong representation to diverse speakers and diversity of thought.

However, the Show is not a place for inappropriate, disruptive, or abusive behavior, either in person or online, to other delegates, partners, speakers or our staff. This type of behavior could include:

  • offensive spoken or written comments related to (but not limited to) gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion, belief or political opinion
  • deliberate intimidation and bullying in person or virtually
  • a lack of respect, including microaggressions
  • harassing photography or videography
  • sustained disruption of talks or other events
  • inappropriate or unwanted physical contact
  • violent or aggressive behavior - both verbal and physical
  • sexual harassment such as unwanted sexual advances, requests for sexual favours or visual, verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature
  • acting in a way or running an activity that feels like it is not equitable or excludes people

Our expectation is that every delegate, representative, partner attending one of our events or interacting with our brand, as well as every member of the Money20/20 team is behaving in a decent, fair, responsible and reasonable way towards our colleagues, company property, customers and suppliers. Everyone at our Show or working with our brand has the right to feel safe, welcomed, supported, treated with respect and heard.

Money20/20 may act if it feels any individual or group has failed to meet the standards set by this Code of Conduct. This could include revoking the individual or group's Show passes without refund, but further action could also be taken, which could involve informing the appropriate authorities.

If you experience a violation of this Code of Conduct at the Show please contact a member of staff or use our email feedback@money2020.com to let us know.

If you feel uncomfortable in any situation while at the Show, please attempt to extricate yourself from the situation or approach a Money20/20 staff member for assistance (dressed in branded T Shirts).

As you would in any major city, please take precautions to stay safe and protect your possessions at all times. If you’re planning to attend an event arranged by Money20/20 or one of our partners, please make sure you’ve planned your journey home, don’t travel alone where possible and you have arranged a cab to help you travel around and/or arranged to travel with co-workers or friends, especially if traveling late at night or in the early hours of the morning. Your phone may have an emergency siren/contact authorities setting. Please make sure you review these settings before arrival at the show.

All violations of the law should also be reported to local law enforcement. For emergencies, immediately dial 911.

If someone looks unwell or is vulnerable, and you are concerned for their safety, explain your concern to a member of staff and ask that they help the person to get home safely.

  • Inside the Venetian - we have medics and security staff on site to assist
  • Inside a hotel, bar, restaurant - speak to a member of staff
  • In a public place - call the police (phone 911)

If someone is under the influence of alcohol or other substances and incapable of walking or standing and does not understand what is being said to them, they are in need of medical assistance in hospital and someone should call an ambulance immediately (phone 911).
